Heritage Foundation’s Dan Holler has a post up on the self-interest of some of the companies threatening to drop their membership in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce because the organization wants rational energy policy — which may not be in line with our own view of the issue.

But the Chamber is to be commended for sticking up for the economy, even if the far-Green fringe and Democrats in the federal government do not.

Here’s a thought experiment, though: The green groups aren’t looking very good in this fight and they are starting to raise the fight over carbon control. It may not be to their advantage, after all. They could be harming their own cause.
