“The No. 1 economic issue this election is gasoline prices at the pump”

So says Larry Kudlow, who also comes out with full-throated support for Sarah Palin but who doesn’t like Obama’s record on energy:

Obama railed against drilling in his Denver convention speech. He is opposed to ANWR. And shale. And nuclear power. He’s constantly bashing oil companies. And all he talks about is a windfall-profits tax.

    It seems to me that the liberal environmentalists cannot have it every way on this subject. You can’t discourage oil and nuclear and then have a serious energy policy. If you want to cut oil use, alternative energy is going to mean more than windmills and solar power to be viable.
